I have been pretty guilty lately of feeling sorry for myself and having an attitude of wanting rather than being grateful for the things I have.
My mind has been consumed with wishing for new carpet, a second bathroom, a second car, a bigger house, etc, etc, etc.
What I really need to be doing is focusing on my many, MANY blessings and thinking about how many people in this world don't even have the basics that I enjoy every day.

With that in mind, I have decided to try to focus my blog posts for this month more on gratitude.
I've been pretty bad about blogging in general lately, so I can't guarantee anything like daily posts, but I will try to post more often and at least express gratitude for some of the wonderful things I have in my life.

To start out, I am most thankful for my family. I have a great husband who is loving, gentle and my best friend. We've been blessed with seven awesome kids who are healthy and strong. Sure, there are challenges, but I really think that the challenging times make us appreciate the good times even more. I love my family!

GREAT post, Heff. You have a beautiful family--LOVE ALL THE SMILES.
It's so easy to lose focus on the things that matter most--thanks for the reminder.
Looking forward to your gratitude posts.
What a beautiful family, Heff.
