Not only do I have a wonderful family in my household, but a great extended family as well. I have four sisters and a brother, and D has five brothers and three sisters. Between the two of us we have ten nieces and thirteen nephews so far. That's a lot of cousins for our kids and a lot of fun at family gatherings.
We don't always all get together as often as we'd like to, but when we do we really enjoy it. I'm particularly blessed to have all of my siblings and parents live within two hours of us, so I get to see them fairly often. D's family is much more spread out, and we wish that we were all able to be together more often.
I'm so glad that my kids are able to enjoy spending time with cousins. I got to be around a lot of cousins growing up, and it was always something I looked forward to. Having a big family is great!
