You might remember a few weeks ago I did this Wordless Wednesday with a chrysalis pictured. That butterfly has since hatched, along with others and they can be regularly found flitting around our garden. Here are a few shots...enjoy!

Flying over its old grazing grounds (i.e. what is left of my cabbage)

Time for a little rest.

You are really getting some amazing shots! I love them all but adore the first one with the butterfly in flight. You should frame them in order starting with the chrysalis photo!

P.S. Your cabbage may have to be used for coleslaw! ;)
Amazing pictures. My camera can't handle close ups on small critters like that - well, maybe it can but I just don't how to use it properly...
Wonderful! I just love butterflies! The first shot is my favorite...the lighting and clarity are exquisite! :)
Those are beautiful. I love them all.
I LOVE butterflies--not so much a caterpillar fan.
Your pictures are so pretty.
I bet it was fun for your family to watch that butterfly develop and come out of it's chrysalis!
It's so fun seeing the finished product, after visiting it while "in utero"!! ;) Great pics!
What beautiful pictures! What a fun experience for your family to see the miracles of nature!
